Retail Supplier Exits Market, "Terminates" Business With Customers
Amplified Power & Gas, LLC is exiting the retail market, and informed FERC that it has, "terminated our business with customers," the ESCO said in a request to withdraw its market-based rate authority.
Amplified Power & Gas, "has ceased to operate as a retail marketer and does not intend to make power sales in the future," the company said in its FERC filing.
The disposition of the Amplified Power & Gas customers was not clear
According to its website, Amplified Power & Gas had offered electricity at Consolidated Edison, Niagara Mohawk, Central Hudson, and the Long Island Power Authority, and natural gas at Consolidated Edison, Niagara Mohawk, Central Hudson, KeySpan New York, and KeySpan Long Island
Amplified Power & Gas had been listing offers on the New York Power to Choose site up until last week.
