New York Schedules Collaborative Meeting on Rules Governing ESCO Service to Low-Income Assistance Customers

The New York PSC has scheduled for March 19 a collaborative meeting to address ESCO service to low-income assistance program customers, including the definition of value-added services, mechanisms for a point-of-sale determination of a customer's status as a low-income assistance program customer, and consideration of how to best protect existing low-income assistance program customers.

Massachusetts Directs Further Straw Proposals, Technical Session on Shopping Website, Contract Summary Form

The Massachusetts DPU directed retail electric suppliers to file a straw proposal regarding a standard contract summary form, and additional issues related to the state's electric shopping website, by March 11. Regarding the shopping website, the straw proposal is to address (1) reports the website could produce regarding competitive supply products and customer preferences, and (2) the presentation of supplier performance information on the website. A technical session was schedule for March 24 to discuss the straw proposals and other issues.

ERCOT Sets Workshop on SSR Study Criteria

ERCOT will host on March 13 a workshop to update stakeholders on revised SSR frequency scan techniques, criteria, and processes that may be incorporated into NPRR562, Subsynchronous Resonance.
