Pennsylvania saw residential electric shopping decline by about 8,000 accounts from the end of January to the end of February, according to the latest stats on PA Power Switch.

That compares to a new loss of 6,700 residential shoppers from the end of December to the end of January

PPL, however, saw its first monthly increase in residential shopping since the summer, growing shopped residential accounts by 2,000 from late January to late February. For comparison, PPL residential shopping had declined by 1,100 accounts from late December to late January.

PPL and PECO were the only major EDCs to see residential shopping growth (note Duquesne Light data did not appear to be updated from January)

The change in the number of residential customers on competitive supply at each utility from late January to late February was:

Duquesne Light N/A
Met-Ed (2,736)
PECO 412
Penelec (3,856)
Penn Power (1,286)
PPL 1,992
West Penn Power (2,525)
