Texas Retail Provider Offering Plan for Pet Lovers
Brilliant Energy is offering Texas electric customers a "PetLovers" plan, which includes monthly affinity donations to the Harris County Animal Shelter
The monthly donation amount is based on the customer's electric usage.
The PetLovers plan is offered as a fixed rate plan with a term of 6, 12, 24, or 36 months.
In the CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric service area, Brilliant Energy's 6-month fixed PetLovers plan includes an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh usage) of 10.2¢/kWh. This includes an energy charge of 5.5645¢/kWh and pass-through of TDU charges of 3.7256¢/kWh and $8.72 per month.
A base charge of $10.99 applies for months in which usage is less than 1,000 kWh.
The product includes a $200 early termination fee.
