Green Mountain Energy Now Bundling Smart Sprinkler With Electricity Offers
Green Mountain Energy Company is now offering Texas residential customers a 24-month, 100% wind WaterSaver electricity plan that includes, at no additional charge, a Rachio Iro smart sprinkler controller
The Iro smart sprinkler controller is valued at $299
This Iro smart sprinkler controller connects to the Rachio platform via the customer’s home WiFi network and automatically adjusts to provide the right amount of water, saving up to 30 percent of water used by lawn sprinkler systems, according to Rachio. It also allows customers to control their sprinkler system from a smart phone or tablet anytime, anywhere.
In the Oncor service area, Green Mountain Energy's 24-month, 100% wind WaterSaver bundle includes an average all-in rate of 12.9¢/kWh (at 1,000 kWh usage). This reflects an energy charge of 9.053000¢ per kWh and TDU charges of $5.25 per month and 3.3344¢ per kWh
The product includes a $295 early termination fee
