Default Service Rate to Decrease 55%

Liberty Utilities (Granite State Electric) announced that it has filed with the New Hampshire PUC new electric default service rates

In a news release, Liberty Utilities said that the new residential default service rate for the six-month period beginning May 1, 2015 would be 6.8 cents/kWh

The current default service rate for residential customers is 15.4 cents/kWh.

In a news release, Liberty Utilities said that rates for commercial and industrial customers will see similar reductions during this period. A copy of LU's filing with specific rates was not immediately available.
