Utility's Default Service Rate To Fall By More Than 50%

Unitil in New Hampshire has filed proposed default service electric rates for the six-month period beginning June 1, 2015.

For residential customers, the default service rate including the RPS adder will be 6.921 cents per kWh for the six-month period beginning June 1, versus the current 15.544 cents per kWh.

The small commercial rate will see a similar decrease.

Unitil's proposed New Hampshire default service rates are as follows:
