A Dozen Retail Electric Providers Agree to Pass Sharyland Service Quality Credit On To Customers

A dozen retail electric providers have agreed to pass on to customers a reliability credit Sharyland Utilities, LP is providing the REPs for not meeting certain service quality standards.

Specifically, the following REPs have agreed to pass on a $50 credit to a total of 535 ESI IDs on a feeder that did not meet a required reliability performance metric.

Ambit Texas, LLC

AmeriPower LLC

TXU Energy Retail Company LLC

TriEagle Energy LP

Stream SPE

Source Power and Gas LLC

Reliant Energy Retail Services LLC

MP2 Energy Texas LLC and MP2 Energy Texas LLC 1

MidAmerican Energy Company

Just Energy Texas, LP

Green Mountain Energy Company

EDF Industrial Power Services, EDF Industrial Power Services (TX) III, LLC, and EDF Industrial Power Services (TX) IV, LLC

The agreements specifically relate to the "Service Quality Credit" provided by Sharyland related to the 535 ESI IDs on the specific feeder.

A separate credit is addressing Sharyland's system-wide SAIDI [System Average Interruption Duration Index]. For this system-wide credit, Sharyland has proposed to credit $0.37 on each Texas SET 810 invoice to the REP of record for each of the 52,736 accounts, with the credit to be made by June 1, 2015. No agreements have been filed which would require any REP to flow this volumetric credit back to customers
