The residential Prices to Compare at West Penn Power and Penn Power in Pennsylvania will increase up to 50% on June 1, 2015, according to PTCs listed on PA Power Switch

The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed their tariffed PTCs for the period beginning June 1, 2015, which do not reflect the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge. The utilities have not yet updated the PTCs on their website, but PA Power Switch lists the actual PTCs for the companies for the period beginning June 1. Please note that due to rounding or other convention, the PA Power Switch site may provide a Price to Compare that is a few hundredths of a cent off of what the PTC will be upon being updated on the utilities' website.

At Met-Ed, the residential Price to Compare will be 7.82¢/kWh beginning June 1, versus the current 7.9¢/kWh, as listed on PA Power Switch.

At Penelec, the residential Price to Compare will increase to 7.32¢/kWh on June 1, from the current 6.92¢/kWh, as listed on PA Power Switch.

At West Penn Power, the residential Price to Compare will increase 37% to 7.27¢/kWh on June 1, from the current 5.3¢/kWh, as listed on PA Power Switch.

At Penn Power, the residential Price to Compare will increase 50% to 8.65¢/kWh on June 1, from the current 5.8¢/kWh, as listed on PA Power Switch.

At Met-Ed, for GM - General Service Medium Demand Metered and GS - General Service Small Non-Demand Metered customers, the Price to Compare will increase to 8.33¢/kWh on June 1, from 7.98¢/kWh, as listed on PA Power Switch.

At Penelec, for GM - General Service Medium Demand Metered and GS - General Service Small Non-Demand Metered customers, the Price to Compare will increase to 8.17¢/kWh on June 1, from 7.98¢/kWh, as listed on PA Power Switch.

At West Penn Power, for GS-20 (General Service Schedule 20) customers, the Price to Compare will increase to 6.89¢/kWh on June 1, from 6.67¢/kWh, as listed on PA Power Switch.

At Penn Power, for GS - General Service Small (under 50kW) customers, the Price to Compare will increase to 8.7¢/kWh, from 7.17¢/kWh, as listed on PA Power Switch.
