Public Service Company of New Hampshire (Eversource Energy) has forecast a 15% lower default service rate for the period beginning July 1, 2015.

PSNH is forecasting an energy service charge (default service) of 8.94 cents/kWh for the period beginning July 1, compared to the current rate of 10.56 cents/kWh.

Both rates include the bypassable charge of 0.98 cents/kWh for costs associated with the Merrimack scrubber

The rate forecast, filed with the N.H. PUC, is preliminary and not final, and will be updated with then-current numbers in a June filing with the PUC.
