ICC Posts Official ComEd Price to Compare

The Illinois Commerce Commission has posted the official Price to Compare for Commonwealth Edison for the period beginning June 1, 2015.

The official PTC reflects further changes to ComEd's Purchased Electricity Charges since ComEd's prior filing in early April.

The ComEd residential Price to Compare for June 2015 through September 2015 is 7.04 cents per kWh. This reflects all bypassable components, except the Purchased Electricity Adjustment

The ICC states that the future PEA values would be expected to average near zero for the planning year June 2015 through May 2016.

The ICC has also published an indicative residential Price to Compare for the period October 2015 to May 2016 of 7.18 cents per kWh. An additional procurement will be held for default service supplies for the period October 2015 to May 2016, so this October-May PTC will later be updated

Below are ComEd's Purchased Electricity Charges as updated April 24. There charges are for base generation, and do not include transmission or reconciliation (and are not PTCs)
