CenterPoint TDU Residential AMS Surcharge To Cease Being Charged to Retail Providers

CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric's advanced metering systems (AMS) surcharge, for residential customers only, will terminate on May 31, 2015 as scheduled.

The residential AMS surcharge is $3.05 per month per customer.

The AMS surcharge for other customer classes will continue until their expiration dates in 2016 and 2017, per Rider AMS in TDU's tariff.
