Update: PECO June 1 Price to Compare To Fall Based on Transmission Rate Change

PECO has posted revised Prices to Compare for the period beginning June 1, 2015 due to a change in its bypassable transmission rate

PECO had previously posted in April actual PTCs for the period beginning June 1, 2015, based on its latest procurement for default service but which reflected no change in the transmission rate. For small C&I customers, these original June 1 PTCs had shown a small increase in PECO's price to compare.

The new actual June 1 PTCs now reflect a change in PECO's transmission rate, which results in, for most classes, lower PTCs than the current PTC and the previously posted June 1 PTCs.

For residential customers, PECO's new actual PTC will decrease to 8.20¢/kWh on June 1, from the current 8.66¢/kWh and compared to the originally posted 8.59¢/kWh
