Retail Supplier Seeking to Sell Part of Customer Book
Agera Energy is seeking to sell the Michigan customers it is set to acquire from Glacial Energy
Agera Energy is the designated purchaser of the Glacial Energy retail supply businesses under Glacial's bankruptcy proceeding.
However, with respect to Glacial's Michigan customers, Agera Energy said that, "Agera has been diligently attempting to transfer retail customer agreements held by Glacial Energy and Glacial Natural Gas to a licensed Michigan utility provider."
Agera's comments were made in a proceeding concerning Glacial's continued licensure in Michigan given its bankruptcy.
"Agera wishes to sell its interest in the retail customer agreements of Glacial Energy and Glacial Natural Gas in an orderly and timely manner, and [Glacial] license revocation will only serve to complicate this process," Agera said.
