Connecticut Schedules Supplier Working Group Meetings
The Connecticut PURA announced that the seventh and eighth meetings of the Supplier Working Group of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (Authority) staff and participants will be held at the offices of the Authority, Ten Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut, on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, and Tuesday, August 4, 2015, respectively.
Regulator Seeks Comments on Re-opened RPS Compliance Docket To Correct Retail Suppliers' Available Banked RECs
The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority reopened the 2012 RPS compliance docket, Docket No. 13-06-11RE01, for the limited purpose of correcting the available banked renewable energy certificates (REC) balances for certain companies for the compliance year 2012. PURA stated that it intends to make the revisions to the prior RPS compliance decision to correct clerical errors of banked RECs for the following companies only: The Connecticut Light and Power Company (d/b/a Eversource Energy); Constellation NewEnergy, Inc.; Direct Energy Business, LLC; Dominion Retail, Inc.; Energy Plus Holdings, LLC; Glacial Energy of New England, Inc.; Integrys Energy Services, Inc.; North American Power and Gas, LLC; Palmco Power CT, LLC; Public Power, LLC; Town Square Energy, and Viridian Energy, LLC. PURA sought comments on its specific corrections, with the specific changes available in PURA's notice (click here). Any of the affected companies that wishes to contest any of the corrections or determinations made may do so by June 17, 2015.
