Texas Generators Would Pay $70,000 Under Settlement With PUCT Staff
Two Texas generators would collectively pay $70,000 under settlements with Staff of the Public Utility Commission of Texas to resolve alleged violations of ERCOT Protocols § 8.5.1.1 and ERCOT Operating Guide §§ 2.2.8 and 2.3.1.2, relating to primary frequency response
Staff alleged that the Generation Resource FTR_CC1, which was represented by Tenaska Frontier Partners, LTD. as its Resource Entity, failed to provide adequate primary frequency response during 7 of 23 measureable events during a Texas Reliability Entity study period, including 6 failures while providing Responsive Reserve Service
Tenaska Frontier Partners would pay $33,000 under the settlement (Docket 44810)
Separately, Staff alleged that the Generation Resource TGCCS_CC1, which was represented by Tenaska Gateway Partners, LTD. as its Resource Entity, failed to provide adequate primary frequency response during 8 of 25 measureable events during a Texas Reliability Entity study period, including 6 failures while providing Responsive Reserve Service
Tenaska Gateway Partners would pay $37,000 under the settlement (Docket 44811)
