ERCOT To Raise System Administration Fee 20% (Cost for REPs)

ERCOT's Board of Directors has approved a nearly 20% increase in the system administration fee, and will seek approval for the new fee from the Public Utility Commission of Texas.

The new fee of $0.5550 per megawatt-hour would be charged starting in 2016. The Board approved the new fee for 2016 and 2017.

The current system admin fee is $0.4650 per megawatt-hour

The system administration fee is charged to all Qualified Scheduling Entities (QSEs) based on load represented
