Reporting by Paul Ring • ring@energychoicematters.com

Nueces Electric Cooperative, Inc., for its NEC Retail division, has withdrawn a formal complaint against AEP Texas Central Company at the Public Utility Commission of Texas, stating that the issue has been rendered moot.

As previously reported, Nueces filed the complaint for the TDU's alleged, "refusal to disconnect ... a critical care customer/member of NEC Retail."

Nueces said ERCOT has notified NEC that another person now takes electric service at the former residence of the original customer-at-issue, and such new customer is being served by another retail electric provider. As such the complaint has been rendered moot
