Retail Supplier Exits Market
Hawk Energy Corporation has ceased operations as a retail supplier, the company confirmed to EnergyChoiceMatters.com.
Hawk Energy Corporation had been offering retail electricity supply in Pennsylvania, including at PECO.
At the time it began to exit the market, the company was serving in the neighborhood of 1,000 customers. Many customers that had been enrolled by Hawk were acquired via brokers, and such brokers found alternative suppliers for their customers. Some of the Hawk Energy Corporation customers returned to default service. Such transfers occurred earlier in 2015.
None of the Hawk Energy Corporation customers were sold to a competing supplier.
