CPower Acquires Demand Response Assets from Curtailment Service Provider
CPower announced that it has acquired all of the demand response assets of Demand Response Partners, Inc. (DRP).
"The acquisition is part of CPower's strategy to expand its footprint in the New York ISO market and grow its nationwide demand response portfolio organically and through acquisition," CPower said.
The acquisition did not include the energy supply brokering business of Demand Response Partners, Inc.
Former Demand Response Partners, Inc. President Carl Almeter will join CPower as Vice President and head of the New York market, and will also head the company's nationally offered ancillary services.
