New York PSC Staff will convene a collaborative meeting with interested parties on July 9, "to investigate and evaluate utility energy bills, including how to increase their informational value to customers, identify customer preferences, and promote customer engagement regarding their energy use."

The Commission had directed Staff, in the Reforming the Energy Vision proceeding, to conduct a thorough review of the content and format of energy bills and to develop a proposal aimed at increasing customer engagement in energy purchase and usage decisions.
