Reporting by Karen Abbott • kabbott@energychoicematters.com

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has further delayed the deadline for the filing of a Staff report on certain potential retail market enhancements, with the report now due on August 3

PUCO, in its retail market investigation order, had directed Staff with facilitating a discussion within the Market Development Working Group (MDWG) to develop an operational plan that implements either a statewide seamless move, contract portability, instant connect, or a warm transfer process. The Commission at that time noted that the operational plan should account for the Commission's preference for permitting shopping customers to maintain their status as shopping customers

The most recent deadline for the report had been June 17.
