PUC Approves 15% Decrease in Eversource Default Service Rate

The New Hampshire PUC approved a 15% reduction in the Public Service of New Hampshire (Eversource) default energy service rate effective July 1.

Specifically, the PUC set the default service rate at 8.98¢/kWh effective July 1, versus the current 10.56¢/kWh.

Both rates include the bypassable charge of 0.98 cents/kWh for costs associated with the Merrimack scrubber
