PUC Intends To Cancel Licenses of Dozens of Retail Suppliers, Brokers For Failure To Submit Security

The Pennsylvania PUC has issued a tentative order which would conclude that over a dozen retail suppliers and brokers are not in compliance with the security requirements of 52 Pa. Code §54.40(a) and (d) and therefore it is appropriate to cancel the EGS license of each company.

The tentative order proposes to cancel the licenses of the following companies for alleged failure to file proof of security:

Energy Brokers LLC
Energy Window, Inc.
Facility Solutions Group, Inc.
Geary Energy LLC

GSE Consulting LP
Hawk Energy Corporation
Moxi Energy Advisors LLC
National1 Energy LLC
National Power Source LLC
Pennell & Wiltberger, Inc.
Platinum Advertising II LLC
Reliable Power LLC
Shimshek Energy LLC
Sprague Operating Resources LLC
The Energy Link LLC
Topco Associates LLC
Ultimate Energy Advisors LLC
United Power Consultants, Inc.
US Sun Energy, Inc.
Utility Savings Solutions LLC
Whitefence, Inc.

Absent the filing of adverse public comment or the filing of approved security within 30 days, the Bureau of Technical Utility Services is to prepare a final order for entry by the Secretary and shall advise the affected Bureaus within the Commission in writing that the electric generation supplier licenses held by each company listed above are cancelled.
