Most FirstEnergy-PA Prices to Compare to Decline, West Penn Commercial Rate Rises 15% (Penn Power Residential Rate Up 7%)
The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania electric distribution companies have filed new tariffed PTCDefault rates with the PUC for the three-month period starting September 1.
The PTCDefault rates are the all-in default service rates without the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (essentially, the PTC prior to application of the STAS).
At Met-Ed, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 7.246¢/kWh effective September 1, versus the current 7.843¢/kWh.
At Penelec, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 7.341¢/kWh effective September 1, versus the current 7.343¢/kWh.
At West Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 6.917¢/kWh effective September 1, versus the current 7.311¢/kWh.
At Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 9.198¢/kWh effective September 1, 7% higher than the current 8.584¢/kWh.
At Met-Ed, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 8.272¢/kWh effective September 1, versus the current 8.356¢/kWh.
At Penelec, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 7.983¢/kWh effective September 1, versus the current 8.192¢/kWh.
At West Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 7.947¢/kWh effective September 1, 15% higher than the current 6.926¢/kWh.
At Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 8.877¢/kWh effective September 1, versus the current 8.638¢/kWh.
