Comcast's Energy Rewards Launches in New Service Areas

Energy Rewards, the brand for retail energy offerings from Comcast supplied by Crius Energy, has relaunched electricity offers at Duquesne Light, and has expanded service to Columbia Gas in Pennsylvania

Duquesne Light was the initial test market for Energy Rewards, originally supplied by NRG Energy, but when Comcast launched the new Energy Rewards with Crius, Duquesne Light was not one of its initial markets.

Now Energy Rewards, backed by Crius, is again offering electric service at Duquesne Light

Specifically, for Duquesne Light RS residential customers, Energy Rewards is offering a 24-month fixed rate of 8.38¢/kWh. The product includes a $100 early termination fee.

Energy Rewards is also offering Duquesne Light RS residential customers a capped variable rate plan. Under this plan, the rate for the first six months is 7.18¢/kWh, with the rate not to exceed 9.58¢/kWh for months 7-24.

At Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania, Energy Rewards is offering residential customers a 24-month fixed rate of 49.99¢/CCF. The product includes a $100 early termination fee.
