Four Retail Market Veterans Launching New Retail Supplier
Four retail market veterans, all of whom had stints at Spark Energy, are among the leadership of a new retail electric supplier, Trident Retail Energy, LLC d/b/a Trident Power
Michael Osowski serves as President and CEO of Trident Power. Osowski was previously President of Oasis Energy and, prior to that, Senior Executive Vice President at Spark Energy. Osowski has also held various positions at Green Mountain Energy
Amy Van Gelder serves as COO of Trident Power. Van Gelder previously served as COO of Oasis Energy, and, prior to that, as New Markets Director at Spark Energy
Al Barrios serves as Chief Marketing Officer of Trident Power. Barrios was previously Vice President of Operations at Oasis Energy, and, prior to that, Senior Vice President at Spark Energy. Barrios also previously served as Operations Manager at Reliant Energy
Denis Vermette serves as Chief Financial Officer of Trident Power. Vermette was previously CFO of Oasis Energy, and previously held finance, credit and similar positions at Spark Energy, Sequent Energy Management, and Ameren. Vermette also previously served as Director, Portfolio Risk Management at Dominion Resources, Inc.
Trident Power was recently licensed as an ESCO in New York and has applied for a Maryland electric supplier license to serve residential and commercial customers at all four of the investor-owned utilities. Trident Power also issued a public notice that it was applying for a Pennsylvania electric supplier license.
