Broker Led By Market Veteran Receives Texas Aggregator License
The Public Utility Commission of Texas granted start-up energy broker Payergy LLC an electric aggregator certificate to serve commercial and industrial customers, municipalities, and political subdivisions.

Ricks, who serves as Managing Director of Payergy, has more than 25 years in the electricity industry, including stints at Constellation Energy, Dynegy, El Paso Merchant Energy, and Houston Lighting and Power. Ricks has served as President of Ricks Energy Consulting, Onyx Retail Energy, LP, and is currently President of OEG Onyx Energy Group, LLC.
Other directors of Payergy include Pranav Kothari, A.J. Honore’, and Jacob Varghese
