PECO Posts Prices From Default Service Procurement

PECO has posted results from its September 2015 procurement of a portion of electric default service supplies for various periods through 2017.

For residential electric default service, PECO's procurement resulted in weighted average winning bid prices ($/MWh) as follows:

Delivery Period        Price      Tranches Procured
Dec 2015–Nov 2016      $62.28          12
Dec 2015–Nov 2017      $61.53           9
Jan 2016–May 2017      $63.67           2

Each tranche is 1.6% of class load

For small commercial service, PECO procured 12 tranches, each representing 4.17% of class load, for the period December 2015 to November 2016 at a weighted average winning bid price of $65.22/MWh

For medium commercial service, PECO procured 12 tranches, each representing 8.33% of class load, for the period December 2015 to May 2016 at a weighted average winning bid price of $67.06/MWh

PECO expects to post its December 1, 2015 actual Price to Compare by approximately October 19, 2015
