PUCO Accepts Results Dayton Power & Light Default Service Procurement
The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) accepted the results of Dayton Power & Light's third wholesale auction for default service suppliers. Results will be blended with two previous auctions to determine retail generation service rates through May 2017.
The auction resulted in an average clearing price of $51.49 per megawatt hour for 40 percent of DP&L’s standard service offer (SSO) load for the delivery period January 2016 through May 2017.
Six competitive suppliers submitted winning bids for the opportunity to provide electricity to DP&L customers.
