Texas TDU Exhausts Funds Under REP Reimbursement Program For Provision Of Smart Energy Devices To Low-Income Customers

Texas-New Mexico Power Company reported that as of October 1, 2015, it has exhausted 100% of the funds designated for the low-income smart thermostat and in-home display program under which REPs are reimbursed by the TDU for providing the devices to eligible low-income customers at no cost.

TNMP provided $124,762.50 in reimbursements to retail electric providers who distributed 365 in-home devices to 236 eligible low-income customers in TNMP's service territory

Of the 365 devices, REPs provided 139 programmable communicating thermostats and 226 in-home displays under the program
