Texas Retail Provider Offering Plan Bundled With Scout Alarm
Direct Energy recently began offering Texas residential customers an electricity plan bundled with a Scout Alarm Starter Kit, valued at $200
The Scout Alarm Starter Kit includes a Scout Hub, Door Panel, RFID Sticker and 2 Key Fobs.
Direct is offering the Scout Alarm Starter as a perk under its Moving Done Easy 24 Plus Scout Plan, which also includes other inducements such as a $50 Restaurant.com prepaid gift card and a coupon for 10% off at Home Depot (valid for up to $200 in savings)
The plan also includes a free 6-month trial of Direct's Surge Protection Plan
In the Oncor service area, Direct's Moving Done Easy 24 Plus Scout Plan is a fixed plan that has an average all-in rate (at 1,000 kWh) of 10.0¢/kWh, which reflects an energy charge of 5.5¢/kWh, a monthly base charge of $4.95, and Oncor delivery charges of $5.25 per month and 3.482¢ per kWh
The product includes a $135 early termination fee.
