N.Y. Advances Implementation of Advanced Metering At Utility
The New York PSC, in adopting a joint proposal in Orange & Rockland's electric and gas rate case, advanced implementation of advanced metering at the utility for both electricity and natural gas, though the action did not constitute final approval on territory-wide AMI deployment
Rather, the adopted JP calls for O&R to develop an AMI business plan, on which the PSC will later rule, and provides funding for preliminary development matters.
The JP also includes initial implementation of AMI in Rockland County
