Pennsylvania Sees Flat Residential Shopping During October

Pennsylvania in the aggregate saw flat statewide residential electric shopping from the end of September to the end of October

Statewide, Pennsylvania saw a decline of about 200 residential customers on competitive supply from the end of September to the end of October. That compares to a net decline of 22,000 residential shoppers from the end of August to end of September

The change in the number of residential customers on competitive supply at each utility from late September to late October was:

Duquesne Light       (1,180)

Penelec              (2,952)
Penn Power            1,404
PPL                   1,341
West Penn Power       1,572
