GDF SUEZ Retail Supplier Now Offering Residential Service in Texas

Think Energy, the retail electricity provider established by GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA to serve residential and small commercial customers, announced that the company is now supplying residential electric service to consumers in Texas.

John Henderson, head of Think Energy, said the move not only marks a significant step in the company's strategic growth efforts, but also promises to broaden the pricing options for residential and small commercial consumers in the ERCOT market.

Currently, Think Energy is offering four fixed price plans, with terms of 6, 12, 18, and 24 months at Oncor, CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, AEP Texas Central, AEP Texas North, and Texas-New Mexico Power. None of the plans have cancellation fees.

The average all-in rate of the plans in the Oncor service area (at 1,000 kWh) are as follows (¢/kWh):

All of the plans at Oncor include the energy rate described above and TDSP charges of 3.48210¢/kWh and $5.25 per month
