Met-Ed Price to Compare To Increase 15%, Other FirstEnergy-PA PTCs To Fall
The FirstEnergy Pennsylvania utilities have filed new tariffed PTCDefault rates with the PUC for the three-month period starting December 1, 2015
The PTCDefault rates are the all-in default service rates without the application of the State Tax Adjustment Surcharge (essentially, the PTC prior to application of the STAS). Though the current STAS applicable to the PTCs is 0%, this is subject to change during the duration of the new PTCs.
At Met-Ed, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 8.305¢/kWh effective December 1, nearly 15% higher than the current 7.246¢/kWh.
At Penelec, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 7.554¢/kWh effective December 1, versus the current 7.341¢/kWh.
At Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 8.996¢/kWh effective December 1, versus the current 9.198¢/kWh.
At West Penn Power, the tariffed residential PTCDefault rate will be 7.011¢/kWh effective December 1, versus the current 6.917¢/kWh.
At Met-Ed, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 8.123¢/kWh effective December 1, versus the current 8.272¢/kWh.
At Penelec, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 7.763¢/kWh effective December 1, versus the current 7.983¢/kWh.
At Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 8.867¢/kWh effective December 1, versus the current 8.877¢/kWh.
At West Penn Power, the tariffed commercial PTCDefault rate will be 7.547¢/kWh effective December 1, versus the current 7.947¢/kWh.
