Staff Directs Utility To Address Retail Supplier Access to Smart Meter Data in Rate Case
Dayton Power & Light has filed for a distribution rate case in Ohio, and Staff of the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has directed the utility to address several issues related to AMI as part of the case
Among other things, Staff said that DP&L's application should, "provide information related specifically to the planning assessment of the ability of existing billing system(s) and/or customer information system{s) to accommodate meter information from AMI/smart meter deployment and customer energy usage data to competitive electric supply providers, pursuant to Ohio Adm. Code 4901-7, Chapter II, Appendix A, {B)(9)(f)(ii) and (iii)."
