Reporting by Karen Abbott • kabbott@energychoicematters.com

Commerce Energy, a brand of Just Energy, has begun offering its Predict-a-Bill flat bill program to residential customers in Georgia, at Atlanta Gas Light

Under the plan, customers pay one flat monthly fee for natural gas service for the term of their agreement regardless of monthly usage. With Predict-a-Bill, the customer will receive no true-up charges at the end of their term.

Under the program, Commerce Energy will customize the monthly fee based on the customer's historical gas consumption and Commerce Energy’s gas supply costs.

The flat monthly fee covers both natural gas supply cost and the customer service fee. In addition to the Commerce Energy monthly flat fee, the customer will be responsible for AGL base charges, utility pass-through charges and applicable taxes.

A termination fee will apply to cancellations during the product's term which occur beyond 3 business days after the customer receives their terms and conditions.

Just Energy also offers a flat bill for unlimited natural gas or electric consumption in Illinois, Alberta, and Ontario
