GDF Suez's Think Energy Expands Residential Service To Another New State

Think Energy, the mass market brand of GDF SUEZ Energy Resources NA, has begun listing residential electricity offers on New York's Power To Choose site.

Think Energy first entered the New York residential market when it acquired a book from Gulf Electricity earlier this year, as first reported by EnergyChoiceMatters.com. However, this is the first time Think Energy has listed offers for new customers on NY Power to Choose.

Think Energy is offering residential electric service at Consolidated Edison, Niagara Mohawk, NYSEG, Rochester Gas & Electric, and Central Hudson, with fixed rates of 6, 12, 18, or 24 months depending on service area, with no cancellation fees.

At ConEd Zone J, Think Energy is offering customers the following rates, as listed on Power to Choose (¢/kWh):

6 Months Fixed           8.9¢
12 Months Fixed          8.7¢
18 Months Fixed          9.0¢
24 Months Fixed          9.1¢

At ConEd Zone H, Think Energy is offering customers the following rates, as listed on Power to Choose (¢/kWh):

6 Months Fixed           7.4¢
12 Months Fixed          7.8¢
18 Months Fixed          7.8¢
24 Months Fixed          7.8¢

At NiMo Zone F (Albany), Think Energy is offering customers the following rates, as listed on Power to Choose (¢/kWh):

6 Months Fixed           7.1¢
12 Months Fixed          6.6¢
18 Months Fixed          7.1¢
24 Months Fixed          7.1¢
