Maine PUC Sets New Standard Offer Rates for Residential, Commercial Customers at CMP

The Maine PUC has adopted new Standard Offer rates for customers at Central Maine Power

For residential and small commercial customers, the CMP Standard Offer rate will be $0.065600/kWh for January 2016 through February 2016, and $0.064430/kWh for March 2016 through December 2016.

The current small customer CMP Standard offer rate is $0.065441/kWh, which expires December 31, 2015.

For medium commercial customers at CMP, Standard Offer rates for 2016 are as follows ($/kWh):

Separately, the PUC also set the monthly Standard Offer rates for the large non-residential classes at both Central Maine Power and Bangor Hydro-Electric for the month of December 2015.

At CMP, the December 2015 large customer Standard Offer energy price was set at $0.060906/kWh, reflecting all components billed on a kWh basis, including line losses and adders. The total Standard Offer rate will include this energy price plus a capacity charge of $5.03469/kW-month

At BHE, the December 2015 large customer Standard Offer energy price was set at $0.059958/kWh reflecting all components billed on a kWh basis, including line losses and adders. The total Standard Offer rate will include this energy price plus a capacity charge of $5.34100/kW-month
