Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) announced that it will be providing basic gas supply service customers with a 25¢/therm bill credit for usage during a period of three months this winter

Depending on meter reading schedules, many customers will see some of the credit in December, January and February with the remainder in March.

This bill credit is in addition to the BGSS rate reduction that PSE&G put into effect on Oct. 1, 2015, when it reduced gas supply rates to 40¢/therm from 45¢/therm
