NRG To Sell Pennsylvania Power Plant
NRG Wholesale Generation LP plans to sell its Seward Generating Station, it said in a FERC filing
The Seward Generating Station is a 525 MW (summer rating) waste coal-fired generation facility in East Wheatfield Township, Pennsylvania
The purchaser of the plant is Seward Generation, LLC, which was newly formed for purposes of acquiring the Seward Generating Station
Seward Generation, LLC is controlled by two individuals, Judson L. Kroh and D. Scott Kroh. The sole member of Seward Generation, LLC is Generation Holdings, LP. The general partner of Generation Holdings is Generation Management, LLC, whose managers are Judson L. Kroh and D. Scott Kroh. JAZ Ventures, LP, a Pennsylvania limited partnership, whose sole general partner is a family trust controlled by D. Scott Kroh, and whose limited partners are family trusts for the benefit of Judson L. Kroh, Abigail H. Kroh, and Zachary S. Kroh owns 75 percent of the membership interests of Generation Management. The remaining 25 percent of the membership interests of Generation Holdings are held by a voting trust controlled by Hans J. Mende. Seward Generation, LLC does not currently own or operate any generation facilities
