Maine Discloses Winning Default Service Suppliers at CMP
The Maine PUC has disclosed winning bidders under recent procurements for Standard Offer service at Central Maine Power
The PUC designated NextEra Energy Power Marketing, LLC. as the Standard Offer provider to serve all of the residential and small non-residential class in the Central Maine Power Company (CMP) service territory for the 12-month term beginning January 1, 2016.
For the CMP medium non-residential class, the PUC designated as Standard Offer providers for the 12-month term beginning January 1, 2016: NextEra for 60% of the requirements; Constellation Energy Commodities Group Maine, LLC for 20% of the requirements; and New Brunswick Energy Marketing Corporation for 20% of the requirements.

The PUC designated NextEra as the Standard Offer provider for all of the large non-residential class at CMP, where, similar to past years, prices will be indexed to wholesale prices plus capacity and an adder which varies by month but is about 7 to 9 mills per kWh.
