Retail Supplier Offering Residential Service at UGI Electric

Energy Rewards, the brand for the Comcast-Crius Energy marketing partnership, has begun offering residential electric service at UGI Electric Utilities in Pennsylvania

Energy Rewards is only the second supplier publicly listing a residential offer at UGI Electric on PA Power Switch or the Office of Consumer Advocate price chart. The only other supplier with a publicly listed offer for UGI Electric is Ambit Energy, which began appearing on the OCA chart in the spring of 2015

Energy Rewards is offering UGI residential electric customers a rate 5% below what it calculates to be the current "utility price index" for a period of 12 months. The current rate under this plan is 6.94¢/kWh

There is no early termination fee

The offer includes enrollment bonuses of a $20 Visa giftcard and two Fandango tickets

As of November 21, there were 388 residential accounts on competitive supply at UGI Electric (this may potentially include residential meters attached to C&I customers), or 0.7% of its residential customer base
