East Coast Power and Gas Listing Residential Offer in New Service Area

East Coast Power & Gas (ECP&G) recently began listing a residential electric offer on New York Power to Choose for the Niagara Mohawk service area, and announced that it is now accepting online enrollments for the NiMo territory on its website

East Coast Power & Gas is offering NiMo residential customers in NYISO Zone F the following (¢/kWh):

3 Months Fixed      7.5
12 Months Fixed     7.25
24 Months Fixed     7.5

According to the ECP&G disclosure statement, the customer's price will include the above fixed rate, "plus additional costs if usage exceeds or falls below 10% of Base Historic Load."

An early termination fee applies, equal to the multiplication of the (i) difference between the fixed price set forth in the contract and the calculation by East Coast Power & Gas of the fixed price at the date of termination; and (ii) the estimated volumes for the remainder of the term, using the actual volumes received by the customer for the prior 12 month period as the volumes used in determining damages, except that for all residential customers, the early termination fee will be no greater than $100 if the remaining term is 12 months or less and $200 if the remaining term exceeds 12 months.
