Start-up Texas Retail Provider to Relinquish License
Global Efficient Energy, LLC, which had received an Option 1 Texas retail electric provider certificate in November, has informed the Public Utility Commission of Texas that it is relinquishing its license
"Global Efficient Energy (Global) has decided not to enter the business of Retail Electric Provider at this time," the company told the PUCT.
Global Efficient Energy had not begun marketing as a REP and has never served any customers as a REP
As previously reported, Global Efficient Energy is a residential-focused energy management and solutions company which offers, among other services, solar, a home management system, and a "PowerMizer" which improves home appliances' motor performance and efficiency
Global Efficient Energy also offers HVAC services, LED lighting, and energy efficient windows.
