New York Municipal Aggregation Provides Timeline for RFP, Start of Service

Sustainable Westchester, the pilot opt-out municipal electric aggregation in New York, recently provided an updated timeline concerning the launch of the aggregation at a PSC technical conference on customer data

SW indicated in a presentation that it would issue the RFP on January 5, 2016, with bids due on January 19

Customer opt-out mailings are to begin on January 26, with the 20-day opt-out period beginning February 1

Aggregation service to customers is set to begin in March 2016.
