Texas TDU Files To Cease Billing Certain Transition Charges to Retail Electric Providers
AEP Texas Central has filed at the Public Utility Commission of Texas to temporarily cease billing retail electric providers transition charges under Schedule TC
AEP Texas Central explained that the final bond payment on the Schedule TC transition bonds is scheduled for January 15, 2016. TCC currently estimates that no further billings under Rider TC are required after January 29, 2016.
AEP Texas Central therefore submitted the filing to temporarily cease Transition Charges under Rider TC, effective January 30, 2016. Before the end of the term of Schedule TC, AEP Texas Central will submit another compliance filing to address any final over- or under-collections under Schedule TC and Rider TC. In the meantime, there will be no further annual true-up process for Rider TC.
For residential customers, Rider TC is currently $0.003314/kWh.
