Oncor Receives Approval To Increase Certain Charges Applicable To Texas Retail Providers

Oncor has received approval from the Public Utility Commission of Texas to update Rider NDC - Nuclear Decommissioning Charges, which will result in either an increase or decrease in the charge applied to retail electric providers, depending on the service class.

Oncor's current and proposed amounts for Rider NDC are as follows:

New Rider NDC, Effective March 1, 2016

Residential                  $0.000218 per kWh
Secondary ≤10 kW             $0.000127 per kWh
Secondary >10 kW             $0.053 per kW
Primary ≤10 kW               $0.000151 per kWh
Primary >10 kW Distribution  $0.048 per kW
Primary >10 kW Substation    $0.037 per kW
Transmission Service         $0.040 per kW
Lighting Service             $0.000234 per kWh



Current Rider NDC

Residential                  $0.000169 per kWh
Secondary ≤10 kW             $0.000146 per kWh
Secondary >10 kW             $0.044 per kW
Primary ≤10 kW               $0.000096 per kWh
Primary >10 kW Distribution  $0.045 per kW
