Acclaim Energy Announces Senior Management Team Promotions
Houston-based Acclaim Energy announced promotions and expanded responsibilities for its executive management team.
Richard Zdunkewicz has been named executive vice president, will increase his time commitment to business development activities in addition to overseeing all aspects of operations and finance. Zdunkewicz joined Acclaim Energy in 2006 in a finance and operations role, managing all aspects of transaction pricing, price risk management, accounting controls, data management, human resources, finance and client services.
Earlier in his career, Zdunkewicz was vice president at Enron Energy Services where he led deal structuring for its bundled energy management solutions group and managed the retail product development effort. Prior to Enron, Zdunkewicz served in various roles with Pennzoil Company, including finance and marketing functions in both domestic and international operations.
Alberto Rios, the company's vice president – risk management, is taking on additional responsibilities, including day-to-day management of transaction pricing functions. Before joining Acclaim Energy in 2011, Rios led the structure desk pricing and managed a team of analysts at RBS Sempra Commodities. Rios also previously held positions at Williams Energy
Ajit Karani has been promoted to vice president – information technology & business process improvement. Karani previously served as director of information technology, managing infrastructure design and software development.
